The Harting Minibus is operated by Harting Minibus Community Interest Company. Our nonprofit company is run exclusively by volunteers to the standards of a public service vehicle organisation. Costs are minimised, with the help of grants from West Sussex County Council, fundraising activities and local sponsors.
Concessionary Bus Pass holders travel free, on production of a valid pass. Children and students in full-time education travel half price. Adult return fare to Petersfield and Chichester is £6. Single Adult is £3, Child return is £3, and single £1.50
We run a daily school pupil service between South Harting and The Petersfield School.
Where possible our busses are available for hire by local charities, schools, organisations and events.
We have a Minibus lottery, with cash prizes given out five times a year. We are also supported by WSCC and local businesses, see below. If you would like to support us in any way please get in contact with us.
Volunteering is very rewarding. If you would like to become a volunteer driver or join the team in a support role, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
By using public transport, we significantly reduce individual car journeys. We have saved in excess of 5000 car journeys per annum. Our flexible friendly approach means that where possible we can drop you as near to your home as possible. With fewer stops and a more direct route than other forms of public transport, we can maximise your stay at our destinations. We also provide subsidised transport for local schools and charities.

At Sky Park Farm we have an eye on the past and our sights on the future. Inspired by the days, long ago, when Harting was famed for its deer parks, our family-owned farm is now devoted to deer.
We are a family-run business located in the parish of Harting, near Petersfield, on the Sussex/Hampshire border. Our farm estate is a mixture of arable, pasture, woodland and game rearing.
Rake Remediation is a specialist remediation contractor dealing with a range of organic and inorganic contamination in both soil and groundwater. Any project from domestic oil spills and emergency fuel transfer to clean up of former filling stations and industrial sites – normally driven by the need to fulfil environmental planning conditions.

Nearly 200 residents of Nyewood and the Hartings currently participate in the Harting Minibus Lottery which supports the volunteer operated community minibus service.
We would like to increase the number of contributors to the Lottery. For those interested who do not currently participate, please contact Andrew Mole below. The annual cost is £5.20 per entry (you can choose how many entries) and there are five draws per year with prizes totalling £250 per draw.
